A reissue refers to a poster for a movie that has been re-released by a movie studio a number of years after it was first released.
In most cases, the original issue movie poster will be more valuable than a re-issue, but it depends on a lot of things like blemishes, etc.
One of the first thing you can do to check whether your poster is a re-issue is to look at the NSS number. Most re-issue movie posters will have the letter 'R' in front of the NSS number.
If you can't find this information, another thing to look for are the phrases, Oscar Winner, Academy Award Nominee, or Golden Globe winner because these awards aren't given until *after* the movie has been released to the public.
(Note: Cannes Film Festival winners are decided before the movies are released to the public sometimes, so that type of message might not mean the poster is a re-print.)
If you're unsure of whether a movie poster is a re-issue (and what it's value might be), check with a reputable movie art expert.
