The Italian movie industry started to really begin between 1903 and 1908. Three major Italian movie companies led the way; Cines, the Ambrosio, and Itala Film.

- Fogli / Folio 2 Sheet - 39x55 inches. (sometimes slightly bigger or smaller).
- Fogli / Folio 4 sheet - 55x78 inches.
- Locandina - 13x28 inches. Printed on paper stock.
- Photobusta – Pre-1960s - 14x20 inches. Post-1960s - 19x27 inches.
