A featurette is a small clip (generally 6 to 18 minutes in length) that runs before a movie.
As for as movie posters are concerned, some featurettes had their own poster. In these cases, there's usually some indication on the featurette poster about what full-length feature movie it goes with.
Some movie studios just put info about the featurette into the main movie poster.
A lot of collectors put a high value on featurette posters because they're more rare.
Some examples of featurette posters include: Laurel & Hardy, Mickey Mouse, The Three Stooges, and many more.
