Egypt has had a big influence on movie making in the Arab world.
Early Egyptian movie posters were made in Greece and Italy. After the 1960s, more posters were made in Egypt.
Since there were very little regulations on advertising movies and they were done by different people, there are a lot of various sizes and shapes for Egyptian movie posters.
There are also a lot of international movies that come into Egypt and have posters printed for them.
