The Pantages Theater

The Pantages Theater was built by Alexander Pantages. Construction started in 1916 and continued to 1918. The beautiful building was designed by architect B. Marcus Priteca.

In 1926, the theatre started showing movies and was renamed the Orpheum. In 1932, Will Conner bought it and renamed it Roxy Theatre. It continued that way until the 1980s when it was called the Pantages Theatre.

The Pantages Theatre underwent extensive restoration from 1978-1983.

The theatre is still open today.
